Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines

Dining aboard any Royal Caribbean ship is truly a fine culinary experience that you will not want to miss! Royal Caribbean is proud to offer an array of dining options aboard every ship to satisfy the appetites of even the most discriminating of guests.

Located on every Royal Caribbean ship, the main dining room offers the utmost in world-class dining and entertainment. You can choose from a variety of options for each course, from appetizers and entrees, to mouthwatering deserts. At the time you complete your reservation, or upon your arrival on the ship, you will be assigned a dinner table for the duration of your cruise based on your seating preferences and availability. The seating is open during breakfast and lunch. Though every ship offers a main dining room, many ships feature a dining room that spans multiple stories, with an individual name for each one. This is especially true on the larger Voyager-class family of ships.

Dining offered on all Royal Caribbean Ships allows guests the opportunity to satisfy just about any craving they may have. In addition to the stunning, 2-story main dining room, specialty eateries such as Portofino’s Italian Café, The Windjammer Café, The Colony Club, Johnny Rocket’s 50’s-style diner, the classic Chops Grille, the Sea View Café, and Café Promenade, all encourage passengers to indulge on everything from fine Italian cuisine and filet mignon, to burgers, steaks, salads, seafood, hot dogs, apple pie, pizza, ice cream, and onion rings!

Going for an exciting but slightly more casual night out? The menu at Jade is an eclectic, contemporary fusion of Thai, Malaysian, Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese and Indian cuisines. The results of this dynamic hybrid are dishes such as Tom Kha Gai, Chicken Coconut Shrimp, Ebi Ni Drunken Prawns with sake, along with more traditional dishes like Shanghai noodles and Sushi. A variety of beverages from the Orient like plum wine, green tea, and Asian beers are also available to complement these amazing, innovative dishes.

Take in the charm of a sophisticated wine bar, or indulge in a mouth-watering dish of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, offered on select ships! Royal Caribbean also offers an excellent, but limited room service menu available to you 24 hours a day, as well as a variety of specialty menus for those passengers with specific eating/dietary requirements, including Kosher, diabetic, low-fat, and low-carb options. It is preferable that any special dietary requests be made prior to the day of embarkation.

Drink Packages are an economical way to enjoy Royal Caribbean’s extensive specialty drink menu, and you only have to pay one small fee, one time! Visit any of the numerous bars and lounges, and the package will be charged to your SeaPass account. Then each time you want a drink, simply show your special SeaPass card as you normally would when ordering a drink. This convenient feature allows kids to enjoy unlimited soda or juice. For adults, there’s a soda and juice package and a wine and dine package, which includes a bottle of wine each evening at dinner.

Dress on all Royal Caribbean ships is quite casual. There will always be at least one formal night, depending on the length of your sailing, where most men wear suits/ties and women usually wear a nice dress or cocktail gown. Otherwise, smart casual attire is just fine. A couple of nights during your cruise may be themed, so you would dress accordingly for these special evenings.
